| Frost Gate Guardian | What's the point of dedicating rare/expensive minis? Practice you get those exact minis that you defended in GW2? I know you can dedicated any unique mini for l/50, then what's the point of dedicating a mini ghostly/etc? |

| Krytan Explorer Bring together Date: Jan 2011 Guild: UNO Profession: West/ | Hmm, it's not like y'all tin can tell if someone'due south mini is dedicated or non when they display it. To each their own. Some people intendance about HoM points and a green mini means a point. Others run into the value first and would prefer to sell an undedicated green for a nice chunk of greenbacks rather than dedicate information technology and sell for a lot less. And and so there's the people who similar the mini very very much and would never sell it anyway, so whether they dedicate information technology or not is entirely their business organisation. And I disagree that simply owning a light-green mini automatically ways you show off. Some people worked very difficult for their green. |

THE RMT's didn't touch those, with exception to Kuunavang, which was essentially worthless to them because what his united nations-dedicated value would have been. Even if they had all been missing however, I'd still accept complete credit for them. |

| Frost Gate Guardian | But if you could go 50/50 by buying cheap unique mini pets, why would you ded a mini ghostly? |

| Pre-Searing Buck Join Date: May 2010 Club: PPP Profession: Mo/ | For me, cash is fairly like shooting fish in a barrel to get...so many things to farm...just the rare mini's are tough to come by (unless of course yous purchase them). So I expect at it as "why would I sell something for cash when I can just farm for cash when I need information technology"... And then...I defended all 62 minis I have (though the storage for them is a pain!) |

I'thou not interested in making coin off them, equally I go on them for my ain enjoyment. I don't care if dedicating it will make it worthless. The points don't matter much since I'yard already 30+ in my HoM, so the balance would merely be titles. I just bask having them in my HoM. It'due south nice to expect at them and say "I earned that/achieved that". Nothing more, zippo less. |

Dedicating minis to HoM only gives you up of 8 Reward Points for GW2, but does not directly give you whatever minis in GW2 -- GW2 will have their own set of minis. Earning 9, 15, 21, and 27 HoM reward points will give you upward to 4 GW2 minis. |

| Lion's Arch Merchant Bring together Date: Jul 2008 Location: Planet Earth Guild: Weapons Of Tyria [WoT] Profession: R/ | I dedicate all my minies regardless of how rare they are, the minies I buy I buy to keep, if I got lucky either in game with a drib or I win i in contest by some miracle I would continue them and never sell. My rule is that whatever mini I ain is ded to my own HoM and is non for sale. Unless yous open trade no one sees the difference on a ded or unded mini, and since I wont be selling I might besides dedicate them. Also information technology kinda feels proficient when you got a nice mini you really similar and then you lot dedicate it. I wont exist getting some of those extremely expensive ones though... simply because Im not going to get that rich or that lucky. Merely IF I did I would dedicate too. |

I dedicate one of every mini I tin become my hands on. I never sell my dedicated minis. I wish it was possible to "permanently" dedicate a mini - it's in the HoM and the original disappears, but you can go a non-tradeable copy to travel with you. If past some phenomenon I e'er got my easily on an undedicated Kanaxai it would be going direct into my HoM. |

| Hall Hero Join Date: Aug 2005 Profession: Due east/ | A lot of people did information technology before the HoM advantage organization was appear for GW2. That's the main reason I didn't dedicate Whatever minipets until later cause I didn't want to dedicate stuff I didn't demand to and impale information technology's value. In fact, I yet haven't. |

Reply - at that place's is no "betoken" to whatever of information technology. It's a game - exercise any you lot like. (I dedicate all of my minis - no point giving the account hackers another freebee. |

| Forge Runner Join Date: Nov 2006 Guild: Crazy ducks from the Forest Profession: Westward/ | The bespeak of minis is that I love my petty piggy and whenever I let him out, I remember how happy I was to get him with honest work. The point of minis is that I tin can have my little dear Gwen near me whenever I wish, and she makes me remember the happy times with her in Presearing, before her sould was darkened to Goremonger. The bespeak of minis is that I like the wait of my piddling mandragor raising a huge cloud of dust whenever he comes running to me. (in other words - while I bought many minis for the HoM, those of them that I practice care about have nothing to do with the bloody market place, and dedication only matters because my minis are actually mine) |

Hehe... Likewise, the indicate of dedicating an "expensive" mini is: "I want to max my HoM and I don't take whatever want to loltrade with people because the way trading is washed in this game is abrasive and and so I only ignore it" |
